Chicago’s Profiles Theatre will dedicate its 2007-2008 season to the works of acclaimed playwright and filmmaker Neil LaBute. The author will work closely with Profiles on these projects and will be participating in talkbacks and special events throughout the season.

The season will open with Some Girl(s) (September 10-October 28), about a man who visits five of his ex-girlfriends prior to his wedding. It will be followed by a collection of short plays titled Things We Said Today (November 12-December 16) and This Is How It Goes (January 14-March 2), about an interracial couple whose relationship is threatened by a white classmate. A fourth Midwest premiere, to be announced, will conclude the season.

Profiles has previously presented LaBute’s Fat Pig and autobahn. For more information, visit www.profilestheatre.org.
