LaNisa Renee Frederick, John Weherman to Star in Take Her to See the Maco Lights

Prologue Theatre Co. will close its 2011-2012 season with Bekah Brunstetter’s Take Her to See the Maco Lights, to run May 10-June 2 at Luna Central (formerly Live Bait Theater).

LaNisa Renee Frederick and John Weherman star in the ghostly love story, directed by Margo Gray, which draws on folk history, pop culture, and America’s past to follow follows a pair of young lovers along a dark railroad track in North Carolina.

The creative team includes Dylan Marks (scenic designer), Janna Webber (lighting designer), Beth Miller (costume designer), Curtis Powell (sound designer), and Barbara Trinh (props designer).

A special League of Chicago Theater event for the production will be held on Thursday, May 17, and will feature a walking tour of the neighborhood cemetery led by paranormal researcher and author Ursula Bielski.
