Drury Lane Oakbrook Theatre Announces Cast for Seussical

Casting has been announced for Drury Lane Oakbrook Theatre’s production of Seussical, to run April 1-May 16.

The musical, created by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty with the assistance of Monty Python‘s Eric Idle, brings together an assortment of popular Dr. Seuss characters, as the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant and his friends.

The cast will include George Keating (Cat in the Hat), Bernie Yvon (Horton the Elephant), Tempe Thomas (Gertrude McFuzz), Cheryl Avery (Mayzie, Bird Girl), Arielle Leigh Dayan (split role as JoJo), Elianna Schnittman (split role as JoJo), Matt Raftery (Wickersham Brother, Mr. Mayor), Holly Stauder (Bird Girl, Mrs. Mayor), Scott Alan Jones (Wickersham Brother), Jason Shuffler (Wickersham Brother), Melody Betts (Sour Kangaroo/Bird Girl), and Ericka Mac (Bird Girl, Ensemble).
