Lainie Kazan to Receive Provincetown Theatre Lifetime Achievement Award

Stage and screen star Lainie Kazan will receive the Provincetown Theatre’s National Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual presentation, at 5pm on Friday, August 15. At the event, Ray Wells, a co-founder of the Provincetown Theater Workshop, will also be honored.

Kazan starred on Broadway in Funny Girl, The Happiest Girl in the World, Bravo Giovanni, and The Government Inspector. She received a Tony Award nomination for playing Belle in My Favorite Year, the same role she played on film.
Her other big-screen credits include My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Beaches, and You Don’t Mess With the Zohan.
