Following its run at Roundabout Theatre Company's Laura Pels Theatre, Stephen Karam's new play The Humans will move to Broadway in early 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Scott Rudin will serve as lead producer of the run. Exact dates and a theater are still to be confirmed.

The Humans follows Erik (played by Tony nominee Reed Birney), who has broken with tradition and brought his Pennsylvania family to celebrate Thanksgiving at his daughter's apartment in lower Manhattan. As darkness falls, family tensions reach a peak, and the heart and horrors of the clan are exposed. Cassie Beck, Jayne Houdyshell, Lauren Klein, Arian Moayed, and Sarah Steele complete the off-Broadway company. The full off-Broadway company will move to Broadway.

Joe Mantello directs the production, which features a creative team made up of David Zinn (sets), Sarah Laux (costumes), Justin Townsend (lighting), and Fitz Patton (sound). The Roundabout production runs through December 27.
