Flashback Friday: Audra McDonald and Brian Stokes Mitchell in 1997's Ragtime

Earlier this week, the upcoming Broadway production of Shuffle Along, or, The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Follows announced casting that features stage favorites including Billy Porter, Joshua Henry, Brandon Victor Dixon, and Brian Stokes Mitchell, all of whom are joining previously announced six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald. The show will mark the first time that Mitchell and McDonald have shared a Broadway stage since they were both Tony-nominated for their performances in 1997's Ragtime (Audra won the award, her third).
