Free Reading of Free Fall, New Musical by Ellison, Biering, and Linser, March 10 and 11

“Firefighter Zach Jacoby is plagued by dreams…Who is the woman who keeps appearing, bursting into flames, jumping out of windows? As the dreams progress into nightmares of pursuit, escape and death, Zach’s ordered life goes from comfortable to challenging to chaotic. When the mysterious woman proves to be a real person who died for the French Resisitance in World War II, everything he’s managed to safely take for granted is called into question. He delves into the mystery of his dreams to find the meaning of his life…and maybe even the love of his life.”

This is the authors’ description of Free Fall, a new musical about “considering the possibilities, living our lives fully, and facing the fears we all share of truly connecting with the people we love.” The show — with lyrics by Michael Ellison, music by Jeffrey Biering, and book by Bruce Linser — will have two readings at the Broadway Theatre Institute on Monday and Tuesday, March 10 and 11, at 5:30 pm.

The cast includes Gregory Allan Bock, Brian Cimmet, Erin Esposito, Amie Farrell, Guil Fisher, Alan Green, Leah Horowitz, Bruce Linser, Liz McConahay, Brian Munn, Carol Fox Prescott, Laura Shoop, Trevor Southworth, and Cullen Titmas. Ellison will direct the presentation and Biering will serve as musical director.

The Broadway Theatre Institute is located at 210 West 50th Street, 2nd Floor. Admission to the readings is free but reservations should be made by calling 212-868-0488 or via e-mail to freefallmusical@aol.com.
