On Thursday, December 1, the Broadway production of the new musical, Bonnie & Clyde, opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
Opening night guests included Sebastian Arcelus, Stephanie J. Block, Nikki Blonsky, Aaron Carter, Sasha Cohen, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Alex Ko, Norm Lewis, Ivan Menchell, Chris Noth, Kenny Ortega, Matthew Settle, Christopher Sieber, John Stamos, Ben Vereen, and Chely Wright.
Featuring music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black and a book by Ivan Menchell, the production is directed by Jeff Calhoun. The musical is based on the lives of Depression-era outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, whose notorious exploits captured the country’s imagination.
Laura Osnes and Jeremy Jordan lead a cast which also features Melissa van der Schyff, Claybourne Elder, Joe Hart, and Louis Hobson. The cast also includes Leslie Becker, Mimi Bessette, Alison Cimmet, Daniel Cooney, Jon Fletcher, Victor Hernandez, Sean Jenness, Katie Klaus, Michael Lanning, Garrett Long, Matt Lutz, Marissa McGowan, Cassie Okenka, Justin Matthew Sargent, and Tad Wilson.
