Tony Award and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will be performing in the Broadway production of Promises, Promises, October 19-27.

Chenoweth had previously announced that she would be out during this time, reportedly to film FOX's Glee, on which she has a recurring guest role as April Rhodes. However, according to published reports, Chenoweth will not be filming the series until 2011.

Directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford, the musical features a book by Neil Simon and a score by Burt Bacharach and Hal David.

The company also features Sean Hayes (Chuck Baxter), Tony Goldwyn (J.D. Sheldrake), Molly Shannon (Marge MacDougall), Dick Latessa (Dr. Dreyfuss), Brooks Ashmanskas (Mr. Dobitch), Helen Anker (Miss Olson), Peter Benson (Mr. Kirkeby), Seán Martin Hingston (Mr. Eichelberger) and Ken Land (Jesse Vanderhof).

The creative team includes scenic designer Scott Pask, costume designer Bruce Pask, lighting designer Donald Holder, and sound designer by Brian Ronan.
