Kerry O'Malley has joined the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Billy Elliot as Billy's mom as of July 28, temporarily replacing Leah Hocking, who will return to the role on September 8.

O'Malley's Broadway credits include White Christmas and Into the Woods, for which she received a Drama Desk Award nomination. She recently played Abigail Adams in the Paper Mill Playhouse's acclaimed production of 1776.

Billy Elliot won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Director, and Best Book of a Musical.
