WABC-TV (Channel 7) will rebroadcast a 30-minute TV special, A Salute to Rodgers & Hammerstein's "South Pacific" on Sunday, May 25 at 5:30am. It will be hosted by news anchor Sade Baderinwa. The show received 11 Tony Award nominations, including Best Revival of a Musical, and has already won numerous Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards.

The special will give viewers a rare behind-the-scenes look at Lincoln Center Theatre's production of South Pacific, including interviews with the show's stars, Kelli O'Hara, Paulo Szot, Matthew Morrison, Danny Burstein, and Loretta Ables Sayre, director Bartlett Sher, and composer Mary Rodgers Guettel (the daughter of composer Richard Rodgers).

There will also be rarely seen footage of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II and performance footage featuring the musical's original Broadway stars, Mary Martin and Ezio Pinza.

The original cast recording of the Lincoln Center Theater production will be released by Sony Masterworks on May 27.
