The cast of Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Marc Camoletti’s Don’t Dress for Dinner met the press Thursday, March 15 at American Airlines Theatre. The production will begin previews there March 30 in advance of an April 26 opening.
Ben Daniels, Patricia Kalember, Adam James, Jennifer Tilly, Spencer Kayden, and David Aron Damane will star in the production, which features a script adapted by Robin Hawdon and direction by John Tillinger.
Camoletti’s sequel to his earlier farce Boeing-Boeing focuses on a romantic evening between Bernard (James) and his mistress Suzanne (Tilly), which goes awry despite the best efforts of his old friend Robert (Daniels). Hawdon’s adaptation of the original French play premiered in London in 1991 and ran for six years. Tillinger directed a production of the play in Chicago in 2008.
The design team will include John Lee Beatty (sets), William Ivey Long (costumes), Ken Billington (lights), and David Van Tieghem (sound).
