The Dream Lives On CD, with Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris, Cherry Jones, to Be Released July 4

The previously announced recording of Boston Pops’ The Dream Lives on: A Portrait of The Kennedy Brothers will be released on July 4. The album will be for sale in Boston, online at the Pops’ website and on Amazon.com, as well as available for digital download.

The recording features narration by Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris, and Cherry Jones, as well as the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, under the direction of Keith Lockhart.

Written by composer Peter Boyer and lyricist Lynn Ahrens, this new multi-media work combines quotes from speeches by brothers John, Robert, and Edward Kennedy, with original text and video, accompanied by a dramatic orchestral and choral score.
