A.R.T. to Offer October 25 Benefit Performance of Cabaret

American Repertory Theatre will offer a special benefit performance of Cabaret on Monday, October 25 at 7:30pm at Oberon. The production has been directed by Steven Bogart and has musical direction by Lance Horne and Debra Barsha, with movement by Steven Mitchell Wright.

With a score by John Kander and Fred Ebb and a book by Joe Masteroff, the musical stars Amanda Palmer as the Emcee. Palmer is well known for her work with the cabaret band, The Dresden Dolls, and for her solo album Who Killed Amanda Palmer.

The company also features Aly Trasher (Sally Bowles), Matt Wood (Cliff Bradshaw), Remo Airaldi (Herr Schultz), David Costa (Ernst Ludwig), Claire Davies (Fraulein Kost), Thomas Derrah (Fraulein Schneider), and Jeremy Geidt (Max), as well as Renee-Marie Brewster, Lucille Duncan, Tamara Hickey, Eric Johnson, Jordy Lievers, and Gaetano Pugliese as the Kit Kat Dancers and ensemble members Annika Franklin, Chris Thomas, and Edward Walsh.

The creative team includes David Israel Reynoso (scenic and costume design), Nicholas D. Vargelis (lighting design), and Clive Goodwin (sound design).
