Amanda Palmer Set for Cabaret Panel Discussion

American Repertory Theater has announced the participants for a panel discussion about its current production of Cabaret, to be held on September 20 at 6pm at Oberon. The free event will be open to the public, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.

The panel will feature Amanda Palmer, who plays the Emcee in the production, along with Charles Maier, a history professor at Harvard University; Carol Oja, professor of music at the school; and Martin Puchner, Harvard professor of English and comparative literature. Harvard Professor Homi K. Bhabha will moderate the discussion.

Directed by Steven Bogart, the musical also features Aly Trasher (Sally Bowles), Matt Wood (Cliff Bradshaw), Remo Airaldi (Herr Schultz), David Costa (Ernst Ludwig), Claire Davies (Fraulein Kost), Thomas Derrah (Fraulein Schneider), and Jeremy Geidt (Max), as well as Renee-Marie Brewster, Lucille Duncan, Tamara Hickey, Eric Johnson, Jordy Lievers, and Gaetano Pugliese as the Kit Kat Dancers and ensemble members Annika Franklin, Chris Thomas, and Edward Walsh.
