Israel Horovitz to Participate in Gloucester Stage’s Three Weeks After Paradise Special Event

Israel Horovitz’s film Three Weeks After Paradise, and a companion stage piece, Ten Years After Paradise, will be offered as a special event at Gloucester Stage on Sunday, September 11 at 8pm.

The evening will begin with the film, based on work that Horovitz wrote three weeks after the attacks of 9/11, describing the realities of living in lower Manhattan at the time. Horovitz will introduce the film and following the screening, read from Ten Years After Paradise, which discusses the effects of 9/11 on the world today.

Following the reading, Horovitz and artists from Gloucester stage will participate in a discussion with the audience.
