Patricia Clarkson, Bradley Cooper, Shuler Hensley, Scott Lowell Set for Williamstown’s The Elephant Man

Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Williamstown Theatre Festival’s production of Bernard Pomerance’s The Elephant Man on the Festival’s website. The production, to run July 25-August 5, will be directed by Scott Ellis.


The play focuses on John Merrick, a deformed man, through his life from the star of a Victorian freak show to his days as the toast of London high society.


Bradley Cooper will play Merrick, alongside Patricia Clarkson, Shuler Hensley, Scott Lowell, Alessandra Nivola, Marguerite Stimpson, and Henry Stram.


The creative team includes Timothy R. Mackabee (sets), Clint Ramos (costumes), Philip Rosenberg (lighting), and Tom Kochan (original music and sound design).


Remaining tickets are now available by lottery starting 2.5 hours prior to each performance.
