Mark Ballas (Dancing With the Stars) will take on the role of Frankie Valli in the Muny's upcoming production of Jersey Boys. Running July 9-16, the musical is directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes, with music direction by Rick Bertone.

Ballas, who played the role on Broadway, will be joined by Bobby Conte Thornton as Bob Gaudio, Nicolas Dromard as Tommy DeVito, and Keith Hines as Nick Massi. Further casting will be announced.

Jersey Boys has a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio, and lyrics by Bob Crewe. The Muny will be the first theater in the world to create its own production of the show, unrelated to the ongoing New York, touring, and international versions.
