Missing Pages is a drama, laced with unexpected humor, that tells the story of a daughter and son attempting to reconcile with their father. Unbeknownst to their family, the father (a WWII master spy-catcher now afflicted by Alzheimer’s) and his son (a Vietnam veteran who went AWOL) are both haunted by flashbacks. A mystery unfolds as daughter and son realize their father’s seeming delusions are rooted in events from his war experiences, and they set about to discover what their hero of a father actually did during the war. The reading will be directed by New York-based Nancy Robillard.
The play is second in a series of readings produced by Women’s Work Writers Group in association with the Playwrights’ Forum and MetroStage.
