College Park: The Opera

A deeply collaborative work, College Park: The Opera takes Squonk Opera’s signature live music, vivid imagery and rock and roll stage show flamboyance, and artfully weaves in the essence of the city through taped interviews with residents, scenic footage, aerial photography, local history and statistics as well as live monologues and dance performances by local residents. Johnny Holliday, voice of the University of Maryland Terrapins, serves as video emcee.
