About This Show

Tom Stoppard’s outstanding drama about the struggle of two marriages. Alley Theatre presents The Real Thing, an intellectual story rife with unanticipated moments of emotion ranging from anger to desperation. Charlotte is an appearing in a play about marriage written by her husband Henry. Max in an actor married to an actress named Annie. Both marriages are in danger because Henry and Annie have fallen in love. But is it the real thing?
