About This Show

Jessie Haynes performs as part of the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts “Live in the Lobby” Concert Series.

Although she was born on Long Island, Jessie grew up playing in garage bands in L.A. Returning to Long Island, she founded and became lead guitarist and the primary songwriter for the all-female rock band Sweet Little Sister, which enjoyed national attention. Soon after, she toured worldwide as rhythm guitarist and background singer in Blackmore’s Night, formed by former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. As a solo artist she has taken the recording process into her own hands and is working on her second release, The Secret Life of Cinderella.

Live in the Lobby is a series of concerts for small audiences held in the lobby of the historic Patchogue Theatre on the first Thursday of every month. These concerts feature artists from the Long Island area playing a wide variety of mostly original music in an intimate and comfortable setting. All ages are welcome.
