About the Show

The Hudson Stage Company presents a staged reading of David Wiener’s For the Dead. A family of Jewish emigres assimilates into post-war American
society by passing themselves off as Gentiles. At once a family history and a ghost story, the play explores the complex tensions between parents and children, America and its immigrants, and the living and the dead. Post-performance discussion with the playwright, cast and director.

FREE and open to the public.
