About the Show
The Tempest is a play about a bitter man’s redemption through forgiveness, motivated by love. Prospero, the deposed and exiled Duke of Milan, overcomes his baser, more vindictive impulses to provide a secure future for his beloved daughter, Miranda. Deborah Wright Houston directs for Kings County Shakespeare Company’s new resident ensemble Thespis.
