About This Show

Experimentation, innovation, collaboration and…dinner. Ripple Productions presents an experimentation in the rehearsal room and the kitchen with Innocent When You Dream. This production invites audiences to enjoy an evening of gender experimentation enhanced with dishes created by Ripple’s resident chef Coleman Foster. This four-course theatrical and culinary experience examines the conflict and synthesis between masculine and feminine, gender and sexuality. As six performers present the development of sexual identity through original dialogue, movement and found text, they serve the audience dishes inspired by the Chinese tradition of feminine and masculine foods that are crafted to highlight the intricate relationships being explored.
