Forteez Bluntz Chickenhedz ‘n’ Uva Necessateez is a play about two homeless poets — father and son — who are burdened yet inspired by the weight of history and their ancestors. The play follows them as they search for the missing piece of their family, the woman who is a daughter to one and a sister to the other. Hearing her voice via the spirit world and dreams, they race against time and what they perceive as a profit-driven world to protect the woman they love. Using poetic language, they cry out to each other and to the world for clarity and understanding. Original drumbeats and music are integrated into the narrative to highlight the emotional intensity of the story as it unfolds.
