Among the growing cities during the 1920’s, was an area in Tulsa Oklahoma known as Black Wall Street. Here businesses flourished expanding their wealth, power and education, putting the town second to none in competition with cities across America. Despised by many for their ethnic population and prosperity, the area was also known as little Africa. For this reason, it became a target for one of the worst race riots that history has recorded in America. This two and a half hour drama peers into the lives of those who lived to recount those terrifying months just before the town’s destruction.
