About This Show

The Duplex Theatre presents American Rock, a musical comedy political rant, especially written for this election year. Stars Rock Albers, the two-time MAC-Award Winning Performance Comedian.

Albers rants about U.S. Presidents, Girl Scout cookies, the Supreme Court and the astrological imbalance in Congress. He debuts parody songs about President Bush, Senator John Kerry, former President Clinton and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton as well as gay marriage and the Halliburton Corporation.

American Rock has been created by some of the finest talents working in the fields of comedy, music and theatre, including award-winning director and writer Stephen Rosenfield, and award-winning composer and musical director Dick Gallagher.
The co-musical director and pianist for “American Rock” will be Rick Jensen, who has won four MAC Awards and two Backstage Bistro Awards for his work in New York cabaret.
