Carnegie Hall presents Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific in the Isaac Stern Auditorium as a special Benefit Concert for Carnegie Hall.

Starring: Reba McEntire (Nellie Forbush), Brian Stokes Mitchell (Emile de Becque), Jason Danieley (Lt. Cable), Lillias White (Bloody Mary), and Conrad John Schuck (Captain Brackett). Walter Bobbie directs, with Paul Gemignani as musical director and conductor.

The show features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a book by Oscar Hammerstein II and Joshua Logan, adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel Tales of the South Pacific by James A. Michener.
