Urban Stages presents the world premiere of Seven Rabbits on a Pole, a new play by John C. Picardi. Urban Stages’ Artistic Director Frances Hill directs.
Love, lust, opera and art occupy the lives of an Italian immigrant family
living on a vegetable farm south of Boston. Emotion and comedy soar when a meddling neighbor and a stranger selling rabbits arrive, revealing secrets which alter lives. Set in the mid 1930’s during the depression, Seven Rabbits on a Pole is part of Mr. Picardi’s series of plays chronicling the Italian-American experience.
