New York City
Primary Stages presents Lynne Alvarez’s world premiere play, Romola and Nijinsky (Deux Mariages), directed by David Levine, with choreography by Robert La Fosse. While the dance world celebrated Vaslav Nijinsky’s meteoric rise to fame in the early 1900’s, few were privy to the private side of this creative genius. Lynne Alvarez’s new play explores Nijinsky’s courtship of and marriage to Romola DePulsky-a relationship that would span 30 years and withstand his frequent bouts of madness and periods of exile.
Opening night on Thursday, May 15th has an early curtain time of 7 PM.
