Ragtime

Winner of four 1998 Tony Awards, the musical is based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow. Blended with real historical figures, the lives of a young black mother, an immigrant jewish man and a wealthy white woman chronicle a time of rapid and profound change in America. Lavish costumes and sets are combined with a winning score.
