New York City
Dead Accounts
$49.00 - $147.00; $35.00 Student Rush
Katie Holmes is in a play. This is likely all the impetus you need to buy tickets to Dead Accounts. As an added bonus, the play features Holmes opposite the superbly-talented Norbert Leo Butz and is written by acclaimed Playwright Theresa Rebeck (TV’s Smash).
Jack (Butz) unexpectedly returns to his family’s home in Cincinnati (where the world’s most delicious ice cream happens to be made, incidentally). But why exactly is he back? His dowdy (ha…) sister Lorna (Holmes) wants to know! Is he coming home or running away? Where is his wife everyone hates? And how did he get all that money?
Dead Accounts is about superficiality versus small town values. It is about corporate greed and human corruptibility. And it is about trees. Expect much New York City-slamming in this timely new play.
A limited number of $35 student rush tickets will be available for purchase in-person at the Music Box Theatre box office (239 West 45th Street) when it opens for that day’s performance(s) only. There is a limit of one ticket per person with a valid high school or college/university ID. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances.
