About the Show

Celebrating its 80th anniversary season, Martha Graham Dance Company, America’s oldest and most illustrious dance troupe performs some of Martha Graham’s greatest and most acclaimed works. The evening’s program includes solos Serenata Morisca (1916); Lamentation (1930); Satyric Festival Song (1932); Deep Song (1937); and ensemble pieces Diversion of Angels (1948) with music by Norman Dello Joio; Suite from “Appalachian Spring”(1944) with music by Aaron Copland; and Acts of Light (1981) with music by Carl Nielsen.
