The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is proud to present Donald Margulies’ Dinner with Friends. Gabe and Karen are the perfect Connecticut couple, well-off and with impeccable taste. Loving and mutually respectful, their most pressing concern seems to be finding the perfect dessert to accompany a home-prepared gourmet meal. Their steady world is shaken when best friend Beth announces that she and Tom are ending their marriage. After a years-long history of casual dinners and shared vacations, both couples must wrestle to resolve questions of commitment, fidelity, love, and the very meaning of relationships.
