Old Wicked Songs

Old Wicked Songs, featuring Tony award nominee and television star as well as native Detroiter Max Wright, is the story of a young piano prodigy, Stephen Hoffman played by JET’s own Daniel Kahn, who has come to Austria to rekindle his love for piano and overcome the artistic block that has been plaguing his career. Before he can do that, however, he must first take singing lessons from Professor Josef Mashkan played by Max Wright who insists that Hoffman’s difficulties stem from a lack of respect for the poetry behind the music. Hoffman must learn to set aside his ego, while Mashkan must learn to accept his troubled past. Laugh and cry with these two as they take you on a journey into their souls.
