L’Amfiparnasso

L’Amfiparnasso: A Madrigal Comedy, by Oratio Vecchi, is a collaboration with commedia dell’arte improv troupe I Sebastiani. A 2005 Boston Early Music Festival Fringe Concert Vecchi’s scenes from the commedia, in madrigal form, will be brought to life by the slapstick improv of I Sebastiani, the Greatest Commedia dell’Arte Troupe in the Entire World and the magical sounds of Vox Lucens — the Voices of Light! Will the true lovers reunite? Or will the zany servants drive everybody crazy? Catch the show on Friday afternoon at the 2005 Boston Early Music Festival Fringe or the following Tuesday evening in central Cambridge.
