A.R.T./MXAT Institute for Advanced Theatre Training presents Ladybird, by Vasily Sigarev, directed by Jim True-Frost.
The night before leaving his home to fight in Chechnya, Dima throws himself a small going away party in the apartment he shares with his drunken father. As he celebrates with a junkie, a small-time criminal, a good friend, and her mysterious cousin, the night takes a dark turn when the junkie tries to pawn Dima’s most precious possession. In the wake of this betrayal, the host and his desperate guests are forced to confront what it is they really value and what might be left for them in a community known only as “Dead and Alive.”
