About the Show
The Red Shoes, adapted from Hans Christian Anderson’s grisly fairytale, is given a modern re-working as a macabre comic cabaret of epic proportions. In the story, a young girl loves her red shoes until she can’t stop dancing. She dances past love, life and death and at last turns to the butcher to rid her of her heart-stoppingly beautiful red shoes.
