About This Show

Led by an American master, the Paul Taylor Dance Company makes a rare Chicago appearance with two programs of repertory dance that also includes a new work, Klezmerbluegrass, commissioned in part by the MCA with the National Foundation of Jewish Culture. Celebrated for over five decades, Paul Taylor makes clear, intelligent dance with a refined choreographic beauty. His uncommon musicality ranges from loon calls to Bach, ragtime to reggae, and tango to Tin Pan Alley.

The opening night benefit supports performing arts programming at the MCA.
