Two baby-boomer couples meet for drinks on September 8, 2001. Beneath their seemingly vapid conversation, long-simmering tensions seethe. By September 15th, those tensions emerge and stretch their relationships to the breaking point. This play, Empty, which features live anti-war guitar music from the 60’s and 70’s, artfully examines how everyone’s lives have changed in this new American landscape.There is a special benefit gala performance on September 21 at 8 pm.
