When Mar gets hired at the church she grew up in, she’s reunited with her onetime youth group besties Faith, who is now head of People Operations, and Julie, who now serves as an outspoken (and openly bisexual) volunteer with progressive goals. Though the three once bonded over Relient K songs and scripture, they now have to reconcile their very different faith journeys in the intervening years.
