Musical Theatre of Chicago (MTOC) presents its inaugural production, Blues in the Night, by Sheldon Epps, a celebration of blues and jazz standards of the 20?s, 30?s and 40?s by Bessie Smith, Jimmy Cox, Johnny Mercer and other greats. Set in a run-down Chicago hotel room, this Tony Award-nominated musical revue features an all-female cast with a five piece jazz band, and is directed by Craig Gibson.
