About the Show
Jane Martin’s Anton in Show Business is a hilarious comedy about a bare bones production of Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters, complete with an ambitious sitcom star, crazy director, jaded Off-Broadway actress, and an innocent third-grade teacher from La Vernia, Texas. Commerce, art, capitalism and casting crash headfirst into each other as the question is pondered: Will any of these three actresses make it to Hollywood?
