About This Show

Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, winner of the 1963 Tony Award for Best Play, examines the bizarre and disturbing world of a married couple. The play is Albee’s best known literary masterpiece. William Hayes directs.

The action takes place in the faculty home of George and Martha at a small New England college, where Martha’s father is president. After a faculty party, Martha invites the new handsome professor Nick and his petite wife Honey over for a nightcap and they soon become blood sport during a booze drenched evening of "fun and games."
