The Cannonball Birthday Concert

The Old Dillard Museum presents The Cannonball Birthday Concert featuring Nat Adderley Jr. as the final concert in the 2012 Cannonball Jazz Series. Nephew of legendary jazz saxophonist Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, pianist Nat Adderely , Jr. is best known for writing and arranging Luther Vandross songs, including his first top 20 pop hit, Stop to Love. Adderley has also written, produced and arranged songs for Beyonce Knowles, Kirk Whalum, Natalie Cole, Johnny Gill and Aretha Franklin.
