About This Show

The Flying Karamazov Brothers present Life: A Guide for the Perplexed, a series of skits designed to help one survive today’s world. While the Brothers do not actually fly, just about any inanimate object is fair game to take flight, usually landing in one of the amazingly adroit hands onstage.
The show blends the worlds of performance art, improvisation, word play, harmony, emotion, and above all virtuosity. Each of the four brothers brings his area of expertise to the stage, producing a captivating performance that is exciting for people of all ages.
In one of the skits, called "The Gamble", Dmitri asks the audience to bring items onstage and a vote is taken on which three he must try to juggle 10 times. The items must be heavier than an ounce and lighter than a breadbox – so start thinking of ideas now! They also play musical instruments, so one of them might be strumming a guitar while another is doing the fingering, all the while keeping a ball in the air.
