New York City
Capturing the horrors of the Great Depression as it probes into the very nature of equality and justice in America, The Grapes of Wrath tells the tale of the Joads – how they were swept away from their tenant farm in Oklahoma, joining thousand of others traveling toward The Promised Land of California. They stand as exemplary figures in their refusal to be broken by the circumstances that conspire against them - the incomparable losses that they suffer. The Grapes of Wrath is based on the novel by John Steinbeck and adapted for the stage by Frank Galati.
