David Lutken, Ray Roderick, DJ Salisbury, et al. Set for Summer Season at OK’s Lyric Theatre

The Lyric Theatre in Oklahoma City has announced its 2010 summer season, which will open with Pump Boys and Dinettes, to run June 22-26. Actor/director David Lutken will stage and appear in the production.

The theater’s season also includes the Oklahoma premiere of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (July 6-10), which will feature sets and costumes from the show’s run on Broadway. Matthew Alvin Brown will star in the production, which will be directed by Ray Roderick.

Lyn Cramer will direct and choreograph the theater’s production of 42nd Street (July 20-24), which will feature dancers from Oklahoma City University, University of Oklahoma, University of Central Oklahoma as well as Edmond and Oklahoma City high school students. The 2010 season at the Lyric will be rounded out with a production of BUDDY: The Buddy Holly Story (August 3-7), directed by DJ Salisbury.
