Quincy Tyler Bernstine to Star in LCT3's Marys Seacole

Quincy Tyler Bernstine will star in the world premiere of Marys Seacole, a new play by Jackie Sibblies Drury, directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz. The LCT3 production at the Claire Tow Theater will run February 9-March 24.
In the play, Bernstine will play Mary, an ambitious Jamaican woman determined to live a grand life. Her adventures take her across oceans and eras, from a battlefield of the Crimean War to a contemporary nursing home, and many times and places in between.
Karen Kandel and Lucy Taylor will also star. Further casting will be announced. The production will have sets by Mariana Sanchez, costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Jiyoun Chang, and sound by Palmer Hefferan.
